Waterlicious Flavored Bottled Water for Kids Review & Giveaway

I’m always on board with finding some great food and drink items that are healthy for kids, so I was definitely interested in trying out the Watelicious flavored bottle water for kids. That reminds me.. the other day I went in to the store and saw what looked to be a one year old little girl drinking soda (Coke) from the can. The little girl was sitting in the cart just sipping away while her mother was chatting away with someone.

I have never said anything to people about how to raise their children or tell them what their children should and waterlicious_vitamin_water_for_kidsshouldn’t be eating and I never will.. but man.. sometimes it’s hard. For myself, I just couldn’t imagine letting my twins, who will be a year old next week, drink soda like that. I can’t even imagine their little bodies being able to handle something with that much sugar and caffeine it. A sip every once in a while maybe but letting a child drink it straight from the can like that…  I don’t know.. maybe it’s just me.

By the way.. I overheard her mother as we leaving tell the little girl “baby girl, you just finished that whole can, good job!)

After that happened, I wanted to run home and grab our samples of the Waterlicious flavored bottles and rush back to the store to give it to that mom and her child because I knew this flavored water was so much healthier for her.

Waterlicious water is vitamin and fiber enhanced and contains all natural flavors and no preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. Made especially for kids, it contains half the sugar of 100% fruit juice.

Vitamins included in Waterlicious are: B3, B5, B6 and B12. “B” vitamins have been found to relieve stress and have a calming effect on children while strengthening their immune systems and other vital organs. In addition, it has Calcium and Vitamin C further increasing its health benefits.

The neighbor’s daughter was over when I had it sitting on the counter, so her and I tried it together. We had the Soccer Berry flavor. It was really good, you can taste the flavor but it’s not overpowering or tart in any way. She enjoyed it quite well finished off the bottle while she was over.  (Don’t worry, I always run it by her mother first before she tastes anything or plays with any of the toy reviews we get, just to be safe).

With summer here, this is a great drink to have around on vacation or hot days. The kids will enjoy it and you’ll feel good about it because you know it’s a great healthy alternative. The kiddos will also enjoy the colorful packaging!
