The Ultimate Blog Party 2014 #UBP14

Ultimate Blog Party 2014

If this is your first time visiting Mom Fuse welcome and I am so happy to have you here!

So if you’re new let me formally introduce myself, if you’ve stopped by before welcome back! My name is Jessica. I am a mother to 5 year old twins, wife, and animal lover.

Well it’s been a crazy couple of years, to say the least. In 2012 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Last year I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. And if that’s not enough my seizures from when I was a young child have come back to add even more to the growing list. It’s been a long few years full of pain, lots of ups-and-downs, lots of blood work and lots of doctor and specialist visits. To those who have been at either of these for longer than I, I commend you for being strong. It’s definitely not easy.

About Mom Fuse

I started Mom Fuse back in 2008 when I was pregnant with the twins and have loved every minute of it. I’ve met a lot of great bloggers through the years and have worked with a lot of great companies. Mom Fuse has been kind of my release from everything I’ve been going through.. it keeps me busy and keeps my mind off the negative things when I have some down time.

So here at Mom Fuse we do a lot of blogging about food and recipes, fab product finds, parenting and some coupons, sprinkled with freebies, reviews and giveaways.

  1. You have an awesome blog! I’m impressed that you can blog when you have twins and health problems! You’re amazing. 🙂 (I’m a twin so I grew up hearing from my mom about how much work twins were in the first couple years. Maybe it’s easier now that they’re in K?) Thanks for dropping by my blog! I’m “stalking” you now and hope to keep reading. 🙂

  2. Hey there Jessica,
I have been following your blog for a bit now, and didn’t know these details. I am impressed by how upbeat you sound in this introduction despite all the hardships. Aren’t you glad we have blogging as an outlet now? We are able to gain support from other’s who are in the same boat too.

I am so glad we are a part of the #UBP14 event together.

  5. Another twin mum! Yay 🙂 Sorry to hear about your illnesses though, I have osteoporosis and it sucks to not be 100% fit and healthy when you’re trying to raise kiddos. Looking forward to getting to know you more.
