Sunbelt Bakery Granola Bars Review & Giveaway (ended)

Ahh.. granola bars.. one of my favorite on the go snacks when school starts. I have always been a fan of granola bars, ever since I was a kid I enjoyed them as a snack and today as a busy mom running the kids around to school, sports events and other after school activities granola bars still seem to be my go to snack.

I’m sure you’re familiar with Sunbelt Bakery granola bars, their fruit and grain cereal bars, and their granola cereals made with whole-grains … if you said no let me formally introduce you!

Sunbelt Granola Bars

Sunbelt Bakery is family owned and is committed to whole grain snacks that provide nutrition on the go. Made with delicious fruits and nuts, like their soft and delicious Strawberry Fruit & Grain bars (which contain 11g of whole grains per serving!) or their new Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip chewy granola bars (only 130 calories). Sunbelt Bakery products never contain preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. Best of all, their snacks have an incredible bakery-fresh taste because new batches of baked goods are delivered weekly to a store near you!

Sunbelt Bakery 2

For this review we received a variety case of Sunbelt Bakery Granola Bars. The box was a mix of chewy granola bars, fruit and grain cereal bars and even some fudged dipped granola bars. Flavors included:

Chocolate Chip – A house favorite. No one could resist this one and it didn’t last long in our house at all!Low Fat Oatmeal Raisin – This one was pretty good too.. it tasted to me like you were eating a fresh oatmeal raisin cookie that had been baked that day. I was told I could only have one of these for “testing purposes” and then they disappeared. I’m pretty sure my husband hid them away for himself!

Oats and Honey – This was actually one of my favorites and one I had never tried before. It doesn’t sound very flavorful but it actually is really really good. This was one of my daughter’s preferred flavors too (as you can see from her image above).

Fudge Dipped Chocolate Chip – Also a good one if you are a fan of chocolate and of course anything with the word Chocolate Chip seems to be a favorite here because this was a good one too. My son actually really enjoyed this was and asked to have one of these just about every days, sometimes more than once a day.

Fudge Dipped Coconut – I really enjoyed the fudge dipped coconut.. to me it reminded me of those coconut girl scout cookies (yea.. you know the one!).

Banana Harvest – This tasted just like fresh banana bread to me which made it pretty addicting. It definitely has a lot of flavor to it but it’s delicious, especially if you like banana bread!

Strawberry Fruit & Grain Bars – The kids enjoyed munching on these bars. They love the fruit taste and strawberry is always a big hit in our house.

Blueberry Fruit & Grain Bars – I have to be honest, I didn’t even get to try this one. This was one that seemed to disappear quickly, the whole box did.. I’m pretty sure my husband snatched this one up as well because he loves everything blueberry.

Almond (Sweet & Salty) – Who doesn’t love the taste of sweet and salty together? I know we do and I love almonds so I had to try this one. Just like the others it was pretty good tasting, I won’t lie.

I can’t wait to give their granola cereals a try.. we are actually heading out to the store today and I am going to look to see if I can find any of the cereals. The cereal flavors consist of Banana Nut, Low Fat Granola, Simple Granola and Fruit & Nut.

Truthfully, each and every flavor was good. Sunbelt Bakery Granola Bars are a house favorite, they always taste so fresh and each and every kind we have tried is flavorful.

Have you tried any of the granola bars or cereals? Did you enjoy them? What was your favorite?

Disclosure: I received free product from Sunbelt Bakery for sampling and giveaways. The opinions and giveaways offered here are my own.

  1. I love the Chocolate Chip and so do my kids. I would probably use a lot of them for school lunches and a lot of them for play group snacks.

  2. The oats and honey are my fave. I love these bars and they are always a great value. This case would start off some great back to school lunches!

  3. I’d choose Almond and Fudge dipped Chocolate Chip for myself… but with 3 kids, I sure none of them would go to waste. The kids would have them for afternoon snack.

  4. The Fudge Dipped Coconut is amazing! I try to keep them in the house all the time, but they seem to disappear on arrival. I wonder where they go…

  5. I think I would like the Oats and Honey the most. I would eat these for breakfast and keep a few in my purse for emergencies.

  6. I would love to try the Chocolate Dipped Coconut Granola Bars.
We would use these for work and school lunches and after school snacks.

  7. My favorite is fudge dipped chocolate chip. We’d add a case to our family’s snack basket and most would go into lunchboxes.

  8. The flavor of Sunbelt Bakery that I am most interested in is the Banana Harvest. I would use these awesome bars for kids snacks and lunch boxes soon.

  9. I would like to try Sunbelt Bakery’s Strawberry Fruit & Grain Bars. If I won, I would share them with my friends and family.

  10. These all sound like great flavors. The one I think that I’d like the most is the Low Fat Oatmeal Raisin . Sounds like a oatmeal raisin cookie which is my favorite cookie.
If I were to win, I would share with my family and share with my sister & her family.
    Thanks so much.
