Scotts Turf Builder Review

Our lawn is in serious need of some help because of all the rain we have received in the last few months. Because of the rain there has been flooding and we now have those yucky looking bare spots in our yard and it’s driving us crazy, especially my husband.

We like for our yard to look it’s best and we’re getting no help from that with the mother nature. Our yard has flooded probably 3-4 times just this spring due to the amount of rain we have been getting. Our back yard is the worst.. while our front yard looks ok:

This is what our back yard is looking like in different spots:

And since the rain, these spots are getting more and more noticeable and more of them keep popping up.

We’ve never tried Scotts, now that I think about it I’m not sure why we never tried tried, my husband is usually in charge of those things.. but for this review we were recently sent a coupon in order to receive a free bag of Scotts Turf Builder . We’ve put our first application on the yard and we find ourselves checking it every day to see if we can see any change. We have noticed some new growth in the bare spots so *fingers crossed* hopefully this will do the trick. I’ll try and keep you updated with how the progress goes!

A few things I learned while checking into Scotts Turf Builder:

  • Feeds and thickens to crowd out weeds.
  • Kid and pet friendly.
  • Feeds and strengthens against heat and drought.
  • Water Smart® improves lawn’s ability to absorb water & nutrients.

Apply to wet or dry lawn, can be applied any season.. When temperatures are consistently exceeding 90°F, water immediately after application to reduce stress on your lawn. For best results, use a Scotts® spreader.

Feed every 6-8 weeks for your best lawn.  Safe to use on any grass type.

Benefits

Builds strong, deep roots.   Kid and pet friendly.   Water Smart® improves lawn’s ability to absorb water & nutrients.
