At 6 months, I didn’t expect my twins to be trying to feed themselves, but they do. They are working on trying to put the spoon (with food on it) into their mouths (this is usually when a big mess is made). We’ve had food all over the babies, food on us, on the carpet, on the walls.. even the poor dog was in the line of fire one day!
They’re so independent already it’s crazy. So far, the Baby Dipper Bowl has been a life saver.. a time saver.. a mess saver.. and it’s saved my insanity! The bowl has a non slip base making it easy for your little one to feed himself without the bowl sliding around or ending up on the floor.
I think one of the best things about the Baby Dipper Bowl is that is has a contoured interior so I can feed a baby with one hand do something else with the other hand. Since I have twins, I’m usually multitasking so the contoured interior makes it easy to get something else done.
And, you know how when put the food in a bowl it usually ends up getting tipped over or when you get down to the end of the food you have to scrape the remaining food to the side of the bowl? Well, with the Baby Dipper Bowl you won’t have to worry about that anymore because it has a spoon shaped lower corner so there’s no scraping or bowl tilting! Yay!
The Baby Dipper bowl holds 4 fluid ounces (115 ml). It is 4 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches deep (10 cm x 7.5 cm x 4.5 cm). It’s microwave safe and should be cleaned by hand.
