Review: ME2 by Toys Inc.

Here’s what Mom Fuse “Mommy Reviewer” Kristie from This Side of Eternity had to say about the new ME2 from iToys inc….

Review: ME2

If you are looking for a way to get your kids excited about being physically active? Want to know the perfect way to reward your children for being physically active?

I think that in our society today we need to find creative ways to get our kids moving again. The days of endless hours sitting in front of a screen are gone! Now there is a neat gadget that will have your kids wanting to move around.

The iToys Inc ME2 is something like a pedometer. But that’s not all.

When I received this product to review I wasn’t exactly sure how my son would like it. I kind of thought he’d play with it for a day or two and then lose interest and move on to something else. Especially since I gave it to him to check out just before Christmas!

Well, let me just say that he loved it. It went to all the Christmas parties with him. Everyone was so curious about what it was.

Now you’re probably wondering what had him so interested?

The Me2 is ready to use after some super easy steps to get it hooked up to your computer.

Each day my son clipped this thing to his belt and worked hard running, walking, jumping, skipping, just moving around to earn points. The more time he spent moving around the more points he earned. These points are then downloaded to the special online Me2 Universe to play games online or download games onto the ME2. But you have to keep earning points each day if you want to play in the online Me2 Universe. Cool huh?

Oh, and don’t even try to cheat and shake the ME2. My son tried, it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how, but it knows the difference.

You can watch a video about the product here.

You can go to the Me2 Universe and watch a preview of the game.

The Me2 can be found at Toys R Us, eToys, and Amazon. They range in price, but the average is around $30 which is a small amount to pay for a game system that has so much real life value in it.
