Review: Jetta and the Jellybeans CD

Another great review from Janet over at Grammy Janet’s Place, she seriously makes my job so easy! Go show some love to Janet and visit her blog – it’s definitely worth it!

The Review

I was given the opportunity to review Jetta and the Jellybeans: Tell Me What You Want To Be CD from Mom Fuse.

Here is a description of this CD from CD Baby:

School House Rock meets The Bangles in Jetta and the Jellybeans’ new CD, Tell Me What You Want To Be.

START WITH 12 GREAT SONGS . . .

Who says music for kids can’t be sophisticated? For more than a decade, Jetta and the Jellybeans have entertained thousands of kids of all ages with their signature mix of pop, rock and joyful silliness. Their shows are theatrical extravaganzas filled with comedy, props, dance, audience participation and (of course) great music.

In their new CD, the Jellybeans rock out with catchy, get-on-your-feet-and-sing tunes that celebrate just how fun it is to be a kid (and teach a few life lessons, too). Kids and grown-ups alike won’t be able to stop singing educational tracks like “Outer Space” and “Gravity,” or just plain fun songs like “Wiggle” and “Celebrate.”

ADD A FAMOUS POP PRODUCER . . .

Who better to record a band full of singing jellybeans than 60s pop producer Chip Douglas – responsible for smash hits “Daydream Believer,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday” and “The Girl I Knew Somewhere” for The Monkees, as well as “Happy Together” and “Elinore” for The Turtles. Chip also produced Linda Ronstadt’s first solo hit, “Silver Threads And Golden Needles.”

AND YOU HAVE A CD THAT TOTALLY ROCKS!

I opened the Jetta and the Jellybeans: Tell Me What You Want To Be CD and I was delighted to find it opened like a little book and was designed with beautiful artwork. The sentence, “When You’re All Grown Up Tell Me What You Want To Be” is written across the two parts of the inside cover. The titles of the songs are written all over on the CD in blue and red.

I listened to Jetta and the Jellybeans: Tell Me What You Want To Be CDwith my toddler grandson. We both loved it! He laughed and loved dancing and jumping to Wiggle and he liked I Wash My Hands. I had just as much fun as he did, especially with March Your Feet Up.

Jetta and the Jellybeans: Tell Me What You Want to Be is an incredible CD for children that parents and other caregivers can enjoy too. The songs and music are learning messages that are positive and fun at the same time.

Children are motivated while singing and dancing to the songs to learn and feel good about themselves. with value messages about belonging, and celebrating who they are, and learning messages about washing their hands, taking care of pets, taking medicine, gravity and outer space.

If you are looking for music for your children that is educational, entertaining and motivational you can purchase Jetta and the Jellybeans tell me what you want to be CD online at CD Baby. They will ship immediately.
