Wilton is well known for their great party supplies, design and more and their soon to be out 2010 Yearbook of Cake Decorating will not disappoint you, that’s for sure!
I recently had the chance to review this book and I’m so happy I said yes, because even though the twins aren’t really old enough to do the whole birthday party thing, I will definitely be keeping this book handy and using it in the next couple of years not only when our kids have their birthday, but also for when I opt to make a birthday cake for our friends’ children.
I’ve never seen any of the previous yearbooks Wilton has put out, so at first I was like “Why would I want to look at pictures of awesome cakes, when I wouldn’t be able to do it myself”.. Well, I was definitely wrong in my thinking because when the 2010 Yearbook from Wilton arrived, I was seriously in complete awe and extremely happy to find out that it included step by step instructions on how to make the cake myself as well as a technique resource guide. Pretty cool!
Apparently, this is the biggest Wilton Yearbook ever. Of course I didn’t know this because I’ve never seen any of the previous yearbooks. It’s also not just for birthday cakes, the 2010 Wilton Yearbook of Cake Decorating contains more than 220 designs for cakes, cookies, candies and more. Even theme ideas! Definetely a must have for any party or get together!
