As a parent there is no trusty handbook that you can whip out to be sure you are doing the right things or making the right decisions.. when it comes to safety you are always on guard to make sure your children are safe but do you know what to do to prevent injury or in case an emergency does arise?
The folks over at ACLS Medical Training have put together an awesome interactive infographic that I think every parent should review. It discusses 14 different safety tips and other safety information that their physicians have compiled for parents. In the infographic they also provide the steps that parents should take in case of emergency and ways to minimize risk for themselves and their children.
The graphic is interactive so when you check it out you will be able to click on different areas of the house to find out safety tips and preventative information for each room. You can also click on the playground across the street, the car, sun, etc.
The information is informative and helpful when it comes to keeping your children safe and includes some life saving information in case an emergency does arise.
For instance, if you click on the computer you will get internet-safety tips to help protect your children while they are online. If you click on the kitchen area and pop up will give you information and tips on choking, burns, poisoning and first aid kits which includes a link to the American Red Cross and their suggestion of items you should have in your first aid kit.
The infographic is really a great review of how to keep your kids safe whether they are in the house or playing outside. Safety is one thing you can not be prepared for enough. Learn how to keep your kids safe and what to do in case an emergency does arise.
