Well, I’m not fighting a cold at the moment, thank goodness, but my husband is. The weather here in Illinois is something else. One day it’s 50 degrees and the next day it’s 27 degrees outside. My husband has a stuffy nose, a sore throat and just feels “icky” as he puts it.
I’ve tried and tried to get him to take some cold medicine or at the least have a cough drop to help soothe his sore throat but he always refuses. I myself like the taste of some cough drops and like to have a stash of them in the house, just in case.
I had the opportunity to try the new HALLS Naturals Moutain Berry and Harvest Peach flavored cough drops. I must say, they were really good. You can taste the menthol, but it’s not strong and overpowering like some. I tasted more of the berry and peach flavor than I did anything. The center is filled with honey so you get sweet delicious suprise at the end.
While I was trying the peach flavor, my husband must have smelled the sweet scent of peach from the cough drop becuase he asked me what I was eating. I told him I had received some new cough drops to test from HALLS, so I was trying out the peach flavored ones. He asked where they were and went into the kitchen. A few minutes later he returned to the couch and said “These are really good, I love that the center is filled with honey. They work to. Let’s go get some more.”
Thank you HALLS for sending these. You have made my life easier by helping my husband with his sore throat!
