Learning Curve sent us the Super WHY! Touch & Learn Super Duper Computer to review. If you are like me you may not have ever heard of Super WHY!, the fun and educational PBS Kids show that interactively helps children learn, until now. I never seem to catch it on television but from what I’ve read, it sounds like something my twins would be very interested in.
The Touch & Learn Super Duper Computer is pretty cool! It features a fully-interactive touchscreen, an easy to use keyboard, and a Why Writer Stylus. The computer is loaded with storybook adventures SUPER WHY characters and includes over 35 fun learning games to help teach alphabet skills, reading comprehension, word families, rhyming, letter sounds, spelling, phonics, problem-solving and fine and gross motor skills. Pretty cool right?
Not only can it help your child learn tons of great things.. it also has a “Grow-with-Me” Curriculum that helps teach alphabet skills, spelling, letter sounds and rhyming at different skill levels so as your child grows, he or she can keep learning with the Touch & Learn Super Duper Computer.
My twins had a ball with the computer.. because of their age they’re not really sure what they are doing, but they have loved playing with it, seeing what all the buttons do and touching the screen (randomly) to see what happens.I kind of played with it myself while the twins watched and tried to help.. it’s so interactive.. it’s definitely a keeper!
One of my favorite things about the computer is that it has a volume control which is awesome for us moms! I also love the fact that the keyboard is not an actual keyboard, it’s more like a flat surface so clean up is extremely simple after those sticky hands have played with it.
