Kid Pointz: Online Resource To Encourage Positive Parenting

Kid Pointz is a free one-stop child behavior resource center for parents. Kid Pointz was formed by a collaboration of child-behavior experts, parents and teachers sharing time-tested content, resources and experiences.

KidPointz.com, provides parents with an abundance of tangible methods, advice and tools, including printable behavior charts, a point system and reward certificates, instructional videos, parenting articles and more to address the variety of child behavior issues that every parent faces (bullying, potty training, peer pressure, etc).

With back to school season here all little ones are heading back to the classroom..Kidz Pointz also offers resources to help solve issues with school behavior and performance, some of the tools include a student behavior contract, homework contract, reflection sheets, and reward stickers & tickets.

I actually stumbled upon Kid Pointz last year when we were trying to get some help with potty training for our son, he was trained for a while and then reverted so we tried a different reward system.. what worked was a potty training chart. Each time he would go potty he would receive a sticker on his chart… now we use it frequently for reward stickers and other great printable that we can use to get our kiddos motivated. I’m constantly checking out their articles and videos to get some ideas on different things we can do.

My daughter loves to help out while we clean, so once she began to really have some interest we picked out one of the Kid Pointz chore charts, printed it and had her help out with getting the chart all set up. We bought stickers to place on the chart once the chore has been completed. She gets so excited when she gets to put a sticker up on the chart for picking up her toys, placing her plate in the sink, dusting, and other small jobs she can handle.

We haven’t really used the points system yet, but plan to once the kids start school. I think it’s a really great idea because kids can save points and exchange them for fun rewards. They have a Kid Pointz store that points can be used on or they also offer non-monetary rewards.

Kid Pointz is free and when you sign up you can get unlimited printing of all Kid Pointz charts, certificates and behavior tools. They have over 40,000 members so their community is a great resource as well.

Have you checked out Kid Pointz? Do you find their tools and resources helpful?
