Latricia from 1StopMom recently had the chance to check out a DVD featuring Season 1 of the tween favorite from Nickelodeon, iCarly!
The Review

iCarly is basically about a 13 year old girl, played by Miranda Cosgrove, who lives with her artsy, older brother who is a little goofy. Ok, he is really goofy! She accidently starts a web series with her best friends Sam and Freddie. It is kind of like a variety show but online. My girls have been watching it since it first came on back in 2007. Nannah was a fan of “Carly” when she was on another Nickelodeon show, Drake and Josh (and yes, I watched some of those episodes too).

You can imagine how happy they were when offered the chance to review this dvd which is the second volume from season one. I think Kayla enjoyed it the most. She is like me and we just crack up at all the crazy stuff that Carly and her friends get into. iCarly is different from other kid shows because of how original and interactive it is. The show uses actual video clips that kids can send in. This is one of those shows that I consider “clean” and don’t mind my kids watching it. This dvd set has 12 episodes with some behind the scene extras. My kids liked that they were able to see some stuff they have not seen before. An added bonus is the pilot episode of True Jackson, VP is also on one the discs.
iCarly: Season 1, Vol. 2
