What Causes Hair Loss:

Hair loss is caused by many different problems- from thyroid diseases to low vitamin levels, anemia, protein deficiencies, and chemotherapy. It’s important to look after your health to prevent these problems from occurring within your body. Sometimes these situations are out of your control, so I have gathered some interesting ways to prevent your hair from thinning.

Eat Salmon & Oysters

Salmon is high in protein and is loaded with Vitamin D. Protein and the right Vitamins help strengthen your hair. Salmon has a lot of Omega-3 fatty acids, which helps with hair growth. Oysters are filled with Zinc, which promotes tissue growth and of course hair growth.

More Delicious Nutritious Foods to Maximize Hair Growth:

  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Bell Peppers
  • Spinach
  • Eggs

Sweet Potatoes are high in Vitamin A and Vitamin A is important for cell growth. Having a deficiency in Vitamin A may lead to an abundance of problems- including dry skin and hair which can also lead to hair loss.

Bell Peppers are filled with copious amounts of Vitamin C. We all know how great Vitamin C is for numerous reasons- including hair growths and preventing attacks on our immune systems.

Spinach is a good source of iron and Vitamin B. Vitamin B helps with your red blood cells, and the iron in the spinach helps carry the oxygen through your blood. When you are iron deficient, there are many problems you need to be aware of. This includes hair loss, but many bigger problems than just losing your hair. If you are not getting the right amount of oxygen your body will stop functioning properly.

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs

Eggs are a good source of protein and are rich in biotin. Biotin is a B Vitamin that is good for the overall health of your scalp and hair. There are many shampoos that are made with Biotin and different hair products that will help your hair grow, but eggs are a natural source. Your body produces enough Biotin on its own, so it’s unnecessary to take it as an added supplement.

As long as you are eating foods high in protein and with fatty acids; alongside the right vitamins- your hair should grow at the appropriate pace. You can take hair gummies to help speed up that process, or be mindful of the foods that will help do that naturally. Remember to take care of your body, and your hair should grow naturally on its own.
