Good For Your Girls Skin Care Kit Review

Here’s what Mom Fuse “Mommy Reviewer” Latricia, from 1StopMom, along with her two daughters, Jazz and Nannah, had to say about The Complete Skin Care Kit from Good For You Girls…

Good For Your Girls Review

Jazz just turned 15 and Nannah is about to turn 11 (wow I feel old all of the sudden). We have already had a few issues with Jazz and her skin. It it beyond super sensitive. She breaks out in a really bad rash if anything remotely harsh touches her skin. Because of that I want to be very careful with Nannah and Kayla. Nannah is a tween so it is about time that she uses something other than just soap to wash her face. I noticed she is getting a little acne. I was not sure what to use for her because a lot of products are not gentle enough for her skin. We both were excited when we were given the chance to try Good for you Girls. It is a entire kit that has a cleanser, toner and moisturizer.

I really want to help Nannah develop a habit of cleaning her skin correctly and this package gave me the perfect opportunity. When she opened the box she thought it was really pretty because it was wrapped in pink tissue paper. That is a nice touch. The cleanser is a clear gel. That is new for me. I am used to cleansers for your face being white and creamy. Nannah was able to use a small amount and it lathered up pretty good. While rubbing it on her face, Nannah was loving the scent. It did not smell like chemicals. To me it smelled very clean and refreshing. This was her first time using toner and she had no problems applying it. The moisturizer was really light and she did not have to use a lot. It did not make her face shiny and oily like when we use lotion. (I know, I know. She should not be using regular lotion on her face). After using Good for you Girls Nannah said her face felt much cleaner and softer. It did feel dry at all.

As a mom I like the fact that Good for you Girls is made from all natural ingredients. It is non-toxic and vegan approved. An added bonus of using this product is that even the packaging is good for the environment. The bottles are recyclable and the boxes are printed with water based soy ink.

Now of course I took some pictures of Nannah using it. Check out the video to see Good for you Girls in action!!
