Last weekend was the 4th of July and if you read my post titled “First 4th of July for the Twins, Heidi Newfield, Fireworks and More” you know that we were running our butts off all weekend. I tell you, I don’t think I could have done it without the Emergen-C Blue samples we received to test out.
Saturday, the 4th, was rainy all day. We did end up getting to watch some of the parade, but not much of it, before it started pouring and we decided we had better take the twins home so that they didn’t get sick. Saturday night we had a small party to go to and I just didn’t feel well. I felt like was coming down with a cold and I didn’t want it to ruin the rest of the weekend, so I started in on the Emergen-C because it’s supposed to give you a punch full of essential vitamins to help fight off the sickness.
I was certain that the Emergen-C would taste like crap since it’s full of vitamins and supposed to help you.. but fortunately, it was very tasty! So good in fact, I’ll probably drink it somewhat regularly, especially for those days when I need an extra boost. It also did it’s job, by Sunday morning I felt good, I did drink a few more packets just to be safe! By Sunday night, I was ready to rock n’ roll for the fireworks (they were supposed to be on Saturday, but with the rain they changed days).
