Educational Games

Being a mom, I give utmost attention to my children’s education and always emphasize on quality tutoring. My focus is toward following a set pattern and schedule for daily studying to ensure they could achieve excellent grades in their school. With that said, I believe forcing a child to study throughout the day is not productive. They eventually lose interest. This is the reason I was looking for an alternative that could divert their mind toward something that is not only fun, but also promote a good learning experience, it’s educational games. Since my children are more inclined spending their free time indoors, I was searching for a website, which offers free and fun online games. Luckily I stumbled upon Poki games.

Poki.com is a fascinating game site which has over 20,000 free-to-play games created around 10 genres. The best part is that Poki promotes education through games such as “Matt vs Math”, “Tingly Brain Trainer”, “2048” and “USA Map Test”. My Son usually enjoys playing “Matt vs Math” since his favorite subject is math. The game throws in simple math-related problems in an entertaining way.

On the other hand, my daughter loves “USA Map Test” since she’s more interested in geography.

  1. I agree, school is boring, online games are much more interesting. And cartoons and games develop kids better. My ones are still young for such an entertainment, I guess they will also have this education a bit later.

  2. I’m also not sure where or how to enter, but my 5 year old nephew loves tablets and I’d love to give him one with fun educational games!
