Family meal time is so important these days, often times it is the only time the family can actually sit down together. I love it when we all come together at the dinner table and discuss our days or the week ahead.
Fall is one of my favorite times for chili and the kids enjoy it as well. We are always trying new chili recipes because we simply enjoy chili. We are each different in our tastes though.. for instance I don’t like a sweet chili while my husband and daughter do. My son just doesn’t care.. as long as it’s chili.
Manwich is something everyone has heard of, but did you know you can make Easy Weeknight Meals with Manwich? Here is one of our favorites:

Easy Manwich Chili
The first thing you will want to do is brown the hamburger with some chopped onion and minced garlic. In some cases I didn’t have any minced garlic so you can leave that out if you’d like.
Once the meat is cooked you want to add one cane of Manwich® Original Sloppy Joe Sauce, an 8 oz can Hunt’s® diced tomatoes, the beans, chili powder, garlic powder and the Cajun seasoning.
Stir it all up and let it simmer on medium-low heat for about 20 minutes to let the flavors blend together nicely.
Easy right!
And the kids enjoy it too!
Dinnertime is when we learn a lot about what the kids are learning at school, the projects they’ve been working on or how they feel about things in general. Mealtime around the dinner table means no technology… no computers, no phones, no T.V… just us. And even though the kids are still young, I want them to grow up seeing that families should sit down and connect at dinnertime.
If you try it out you will have to let me know how you and your family enjoys it. With my family it doesn’t last long! Be sure to also check out some of these other great Manwich Recipes.
