Who doesn’t love french fries? French fries are probably one of my weaknesses. Another weird note about me is that I have to eat my french fries (and just about everything else) with a good BBQ sauce.
Yes. My family thinks I have a problem. But I disagree.. I say it’s just a quirk that comes with who I am! And then I get the eye roll from everyone.
But in any case. Fries are delicious. Heck, I’ll go as far to say that potato anything is delicious!

Baked Seasoned French Fries Recipe
For these baked seasoned french fries you will need about 6-8 large potatoes, depending on the size. This will fill 2 large baking pans which is what we need for our family. You can cut the potatoes in half if you’d like but I would keep the rest of the recipe the same.
You will want to cut the potatoes into thin even strips. I do this by slicing the potatoes and then cutting them the width I’d like. You can use a french fry cutter if you’d like, I just don’t have one because mine broke.
This time the fries are a tad bit larger than I usually do. I like to make them a little thinner so that they don’t take as long to cook. Just remember, the larger your slices the longer you will need to cook them of course.
To make our seasoning we mix together the garlic salt, pepper, oil and sea salt. I like to do this in a bowl so that I can brush it onto the potatoes.
Once you get all the potatoes brushed place them in the oven for about 35 min. Keep the extra mix. If you run out of mix you can simply make more if needed. Sometimes I will remake the mix without the oil and sprinkle it on when I toss the potatoes.
Every 10-15 minutes you will want to toss the potatoes around and brush (or sprinkle) more seasoning on them.
