Do your research before making the move, exploring the prices of the likes of rent, bills, transportation and even day-to-day items groceries as it can all mount up. Of course, it’s also important to understand what type of work is available too, and whether that suits what you’re looking for.

There are lots of complexities to moving abroad. You can’t just pack up and leave, so you need to make sure all the necessary checks, visas and paperwork is compelte to ensure you actually get the life you want when you do leave.
