Barbie is Moving Tour event in Chicago June 21-23 #BarbieIsMoving

My daughter is very obsessed with anything Barbie right now. She’s asked for Barbie dolls for her upcoming 5th birthday, for Christmas and every other holiday she knows again. She even wants one for Halloween! It’s really funny because if she’s been behaved or done something nice we hear “Mom, I’ve been really good. Can I have a Barbie? I really need one.”. It’s so cute!

If your daughter is a huge Barbie fan like mine, there is a really cool Barbie is Moving Tour event in the Chicago area next weekend. The event runs June 21 through June 23 at various locations which I’ve included below. Each event is open to the public and it’s completely free!

A little about the event:
After 41 years in Malibu, Barbie® doll is all packed up and on the move, embarking on a worldwide search for a new place to call home! This iconic blonde is bringing her fab world to life in 13 different cities where fans will get a FREE, all-access pass to experience the best of Barbie®. Girls all over North America will be able to play with Barbie® doll like never before with this first-ever, pink-tastic mobile tour, which includes the following activities for girls of all ages:

The Barbie Is Moving Mobile Tour is an all-access, free pass to the “best of” Barbie, including:

• A fashion runway experience (complete with photo opps!)
• Mega Bloks Barbie play area where girls can build, design and decorate their own mini Barbie room
• Fashion design area where each girl can create, customize their own Barbie outfit to take home
• Arts, Crafts & Facepainting

Ultra-Glam Fashion Runway

The pink spotlight will be on Barbie® doll’s young fans as they walk down the doll-tastic runway in their favorite Barbie® fashions. With the help of a stylist, girls can even get tips and play dress-up for their own fashion show.
