Here is what you need:
- 5 (4 ounce) Tilapia fillets (if you get the frozen fillets you’ll want to be sure they are thawed)
- 1 tsp of Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 2-3 tbsp of butter
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1/2 of tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp of pepper
- 1/4 cup of minced garlic
- a pinch of onion powder
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line the tilapia fillets in the bottom of the dish and sprinkle the fish with the salt, pepper, Montreal Steak Seasoning, lemon juice and onion powder.
The we melt the butter and minced garlic in a small bowl in the microwave and pour the mixture evenly over the fish. Once you’ve got that done just cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Tip: If you’d like you can line the edges of the dish with your favorite frozen vegetables before baking. We will sometimes include vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli and red or yellow peppers.
