Mix equal parts of vinegar and water and gently dab it on the affected area with a cotton ball. It can be applied as often as necessary.
A clove oil compress can be made to treat a toothache. Clove has long been known as a natural pain-killer and it also has antibacterial qualities. You can make the compress by mixing 3 drops of clove oil with 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil. Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and apply to the affected tooth. You may also gently bite down on the cotton ball if you would like to hold it in place.

Garlic is known as a natural antibiotic and it can be used to treat an earache. To make garlic oil when you have an earache, simply crush one bulb of garlic and mix it with some olive oil in a small bowl or jar. The garlic and oil will need to settle for a couple of days–it cannot be used immediately. Once the oil has settled, warm it up a bit and apply directly to the affected ear.
