One of the first things we hear after we pick up the children from school is “I’m hungry, can I have a snack?”. When our schedule is full I like to keep some handy snacks in the refrigerator so we can grab and go.. plus back to school time is always hectic for us for the first few weeks as the kids get used to their new schedules.
A lot of the times I will make some of these snacks over the weekend so we have them for the week. It saves a lot of time during the week and the children can get whichever snack they please. These are also healthy snack alternatives to some of the snacks out there so it’s a win win for both them and us.
