12 Lunch Recipes for Back To School

It’s that time of year again! With school season just around the corner coming up with ideas for their lunches can be daunting to say the least. With the twins it’s always a chore to fix their lunches because they are so picky. Our daughter is all about fruits and veggies, but will not eat a sandwich, lunchables or hot dogs. There are days when I try to get her all excited about a fancy sandwich and she’s all for it but then brings her lunch box home and there sits the sandwich. My son is almost the exact opposite, he would eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every day if he could and doesn’t even like to touch veggies. With him it’s really hard to get him to eat veggies, unless it’s a salad. For some reason the boy likes salad.. a lot! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a young child like salad so much.. but hey, if it gets him to eat his veggies then I am ok with that!

Share your ideas! Since it’s so hard for me to find healthy things my kids will actually eat, I would love to know what kind of things you send your kiddos to school with for lunch. Do your kids have a favorite lunch they like to take?
