Today I received the Sleep Sheep and Twilight Turtle from Cloud B. I have to say, this came at just the right time. I couldn’t wait to open the package and try them out. Why you ask? I have 4 month old twins (a boy and a girl) that are teething, so they are fussy and having a hard time going to sleep. I’ve been trying to find things to comfort them and relax them enough to fall asleep. Nothing so far had worked, so I was jumping for joy when I had something new to try.
The set up: With both babies fussing, I sat them down on a blanket on the floor. I took the Sleep Sheep and the Twilight Turtle and sat them in front of the twins. My little boy seemed to more for the turtle, which was just find and dandy because my baby girl seemed to like the sheep more than the turtle.
I turned on the Sleep Sheep and went through all of the sounds with her; the Mother’s calming heartbeat, ocean waves, spring showers, and whale songs. She was very taken by the ocean waves so I left that one on for her, layed her down and sat the Sleep Sheep close to her.
As my little boy was listening to the sounds of the sheep, I turned on the Twilight Turtle. He couldn’t take his eyes off the “starry night sky” the turtle produced. It was so cute, he would ooh and awe while he watched.
Both babies were out in 10 minutes (no kidding). With the sounds from the Sleep Sheep and from watching the “starry night sky” the turtle created, it relaxed them so much they fell asleep. I realized that these are my two new favorite products and that Cloud B probably just saved my sanity for the day.
