Did you know that Lever 2000 recently did a survey and found that parents are showing more affection to their kids lever2000 than their parents showed them, especially dads?

With the increased stress and anxiety due to the economy more and more families are actually becoming closer. Four out of five Dads surveyed (84%) said they showed more physical affection, such as hugs, then their own parents did with them and 78% of Moms reported the same thing.

Parents were surveyed about the benefits of touch and the survey concluded that…

83% of parents said hugs strengthened family bonds.
77% felt that hugs provided comfort.
75% felt that hugs provided reassurance.
57% said that hugging helped reduce stress
