The Review:
This is a nifty little cookbook for busy moms. There are lots of great recipes and it’s a variety so you have plenty of recipes to mix and match each night depending on your mood.
My husband and I are blueberry bread and muffins fanatics, so when I saw the recipe for the blueberry bread, I couldn’t wait to test it out.. we’re always looking for delicious recipes life that. The blueberry bread recipe included in the Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms Cookbook was easy to prepare and put together. I made it up that night and doubled the recipe so I could freeze some of it and baked one loaf of the blueberry bread the next morning so we could munch on it for breakfast. It was very good.. my husband enjoyed it and we even gave the twins a few bites and they couldn’t get enough of it.
The cookbook is filled with delicious sounding recipes that range in the categories of appetizers, soups, breakfast and brunch, main dishes, desserts, and side dishes. To give you a little peak at what’s inside the cookbook, here are few of the different recipes you can find..
Freezable Lemon Bars- Marinated Steak
- BBQ Country Ribs/Pulled Pork
- BBQ Pepper Jack Chicken
- Spicy Corn Chowder
- Mashed Potato Casserole
- Potato Salad
- Stir Fried Asparagus
- Strawberry Spinach Salad
- Taco Salad

I would love this cookbook because a lot of times I dont have the time to cook everyday, but need to!
I’d love this cookbook b/c I love to cook, but don’t have a good idea of how to make things ahead of time – especially freezer meals. I’m more of the “throw things in the pan 30 minutes before dinner” type and would love to expand my style!

I’d love to win a copy of the book because I’m always looking for new ways to make my evenings a little easier. I love the idea of making foods ahead of time, but the freezer seems to do something to a lot of the foods I cook. This book can show me how to make them better.
I have also subscribed to her newsletter.
Wow, her blog and book seem to have lots of great recipes. I’m the mother of a 2 year old with another baby on the way in November….it would be great to be able to prepare meals before baby’s arrival. Not only would it make life easier during a normally hectic time but with the holidays approaching as well, it would be fantastic!
confirmed my subscription to her newsletter (from mike and jillw at yahoo) thanks!

My mom LOVES to make freezer meals, and sometimes we get a whole group of us together & make a day of it. She organizes it all, then we all pay her – last time we got 33 meals for $100 total. Plus desserts and sides. I know she loves new recipes, and I would love to actually set aside to do it – it makes dinner so much easier and faster! thanks!
With soccer, swimming, other activities etc….there are times when having something prepared ahead of time would really come in handy.

As a homeschooling mom of 4, ages 8 years and under, my time is limited. Being able to cook some things up ahead of time would be a great time (and money!) saver.
This book could really help me out during the holidays when I entertain my family. Thanks for the chance.
