The Review:

This is a nifty little cookbook for busy moms. There are lots of great recipes and it’s a variety so you have plenty of blueberrybreadrecipes to mix and match each night depending on your mood.

My husband and I are blueberry bread and muffins fanatics, so when I saw the recipe for the blueberry bread, I couldn’t wait to test it out.. we’re always looking for delicious recipes life that. The blueberry bread recipe included in the Make-Ahead Meals for Busy Moms Cookbook was easy to prepare and put together. I made it up that night and doubled the recipe so I could freeze some of it and baked one loaf of the blueberry bread the next morning so we could munch on it for breakfast. It was very good.. my husband enjoyed it and we even gave the twins a few bites and they couldn’t get enough of it.

The cookbook is filled with delicious sounding recipes that range in the categories of appetizers, soups, breakfast and brunch, main dishes, desserts, and side dishes. To give you a little peak at what’s inside the cookbook, here are few of the different recipes you can find..

  • minicheesecakesFreezable Lemon Bars

  • BBQ Country Ribs/Pulled Pork
  • BBQ Pepper Jack Chicken

I’d love this cookbook b/c I love to cook, but don’t have a good idea of how to make things ahead of time – especially freezer meals. I’m more of the “throw things in the pan 30 minutes before dinner” type and would love to expand my style!

Wow, her blog and book seem to have lots of great recipes. I’m the mother of a 2 year old with another baby on the way in November….it would be great to be able to prepare meals before baby’s arrival. Not only would it make life easier during a normally hectic time but with the holidays approaching as well, it would be fantastic!

  46. My mom LOVES to make freezer meals, and sometimes we get a whole group of us together & make a day of it. She organizes it all, then we all pay her – last time we got 33 meals for $100 total. Plus desserts and sides. I know she loves new recipes, and I would love to actually set aside to do it – it makes dinner so much easier and faster! thanks!
