and the winner is….
I would like to win why: I have a 94 year old grandmother that is living in an assisted living home and who has basically given up hope. She is one of the more healthy ones in there. She can see, hear, and still get around with the help of a walker but has been having difficulty walking and eating due to her “old age” I suppose. She however is still clever as a whip. Her spirits have been low the last couple of years and she tends to isolate herself in her room.
What a wonderful program thanks!
Congratulations Beth, we will be contacting you shortly to claim your prize.

The perfect Mother’s Day gift!
Letters-from-the-Heart is a unique and compassionate gift for anyone who is homebound, socially isolated, developmentally disabled, or living in an assisted or nursing facility. Though we think of Mother’s and Father’s Days as being holidays for younger parents, we all have older family members who would benefit from a little love and friendship at the loneliest time of their lives! For those of us who are caretakers of youngsters AND parents, we know how overwhelming life can be. Letters-from-the-Heart is a service which does not replace family care, but is an enhancement to it. Our program consists of personalized, hand-written letters that are sent to your elderly loved ones on a once-a-month basis for an entire year. The program also includes a birthday card and gift and a year-end Holiday card and gift.
Do you have a loved one who is…
- Homebound?
- Socially Isolated?
- Developmentally Disabled?
- In Long Term Care?
- In Assisted Living?
- In Need of Friendship?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Letters-from-the-Heart can be the perfect solution to show how much you care. For less than $21 a month, you can bring joy to the person you love.

My inlaws..
We have several shut-ins from the church and each one of them enjoys receiving cards or phone calls from others to let them know we are still thinking and praying for them even though they may not be able to come to church. This would be great for one of the ladies and also to let her know, other people still care about her.
I would love this for my mom….

I would set this up for a friend whose family is too busy for her- and yes she is housebound. I live too far away to do weekly visits but this would just cheer her up.
I would enjoy doing this for my Grandma. She is still living by herself, but she doesn’t get around much any more. She lives too far away for me to visit and when I call she gets really confused. At times I feel helpless to help her. This would be wonderful for her to know that I do care and that I am thinking of her.
I have a great Aunt that could really use this! Thank you so much!

I have a dear friend who is in an assisted home. She is in her 90′s. Her daughter lives in another home in another state and they rarely see each other. I live in another state also. Therefore there are no friends near her for visiting. We call and write but we don’t get to see her. i would love to have this program. She would enjoy getting something each month.
