Anyone who knows me.. knows I have twins. It’s not a secret and like any proud mom I mention them every chance I get! Our twins are just over a year old now and for me going anywhere, is our biggest struggle, especially when I’m by myself. My husband and I try to work it out so that he can come with us to doctor appointments and to the store, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. When it doesn’t work out I’m hauling two little ones around by myself, little ones who can’t walk yet.
I’m sure many of you know what that’s like.. and usually by the end of the day, I don’t know about you.. but I hurt. The frame was a snap to get adjusted so it would fit me and each of the twins loved being at mommy’s height. We only had one slight problem, our little boy enjoys smacking the heck out of his moms head when he’s up there! I like to think he was just that excited, but he does it every time to me.. and not to my husband!
The best part about the Kokopax carrier is that is has a kickstand to help with loading. I thought this was just great.. this is a brilliant idea. The other carriers I’ve tried don’t have anything like that, so loading your child can be quite a struggle, but not with this carrier. The kickstand lets you sit the carrier upright and makes it extremely easy to load your little one in.
My second favorite part about this carrier is that you will definitely get our money out of it. I am quite amazed by this carrier. I too thought that it would be bulky and heavy, but like you said…2.7lbs is nothing compared to the stroller, diaper bag and baby I tote around all the time. After reading more about this carrier at http://www.allreviews.com/baby-carriers/2009/11/30/comfort-convenience-kokopax-classic-carrier/, this is definitely going on my “to buy” list.
Is it just for twins? And my son is 6months old so will he outgrow it soon?
