Glasses USA

Recently I had the opportunity to try out Glasses USA. Since I wear glasses (I wish I could wear contacts but my eyes can never get used to them and they constantly water when I have contacts in), I was excited to see if Glasses USA would be a good source to get my future glasses. If you wear eyeglasses you know that getting them through an optometrist can be quite expensive.

At Glasses USA, you’ll find all kinds of different eyeglasses, including Full Frames, Semi-Rimless Eyeglasses, Rimless Eyeglasses, Classic Frames, Progressive Lenses, Retro Frames, Prescription Eyeglasses, Flexible Eyeglasses, and Fashion Frames. You will find eyeglasses made of metal, plastic, or titanium.

Glasses USA has eyeglasses for men, women, or unisex. The Lens types available are Bifocal/Progressive and Single Vision and are very affordable ($18.00 to $90.00).

I’ve always been kind of leary about purchasing prescription glasses online.. you really never know if you’re going to get duped or not, but I had a wonderful experience with Glasses USA. I picked out my online glasses, gave them my prescription and within a few weeks they were here. The images they provide for the glasses are very accurate.. they also give you the actual dimensions so if you want a pair of glasses that are about the same size of your current glasses, it shouldn’t be a problem matching them.

I have absolutely no problems at all with eye glasses I received. I did have to take them to get adjusted, but you can do this anywhere that sells eyeglasses and most places will do it for free. I ended up just taking mine into Walmart since we were there picking up a few things already.

Glasses USA would also like to offer our readers a discount.. Use the code “Mommy5” (without the quotes) and receive 5% off your final order! The code never expires!

Another cool thing about Glasses USA is that all of their returned eyeglasses are not restocked, like most optical stores, they are “recycled”! What does that mean? Well, they believe that everyone should have access to vision care. So, they donate all of the returned eyeglasses to various organizations around the US who then sanitize and redistribute the eyeglasses with the correct prescription to people all over the world who can’t afford vision care!

Since they were much more affordable and made just as well, I’m definitely keeping Glasses USA in mind for any future purchases.

    Hi
Pregnancy causes changes throughout the body, including eyes. Wearing contact lenses is not against in pregnancy, but the changes may alter ocular comfort. Your information is also inspiring to me and these things did help to others. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I will check on that Jayne… the frames are so affordable that they may not. The single vision pair of glasses I received only cost like $40 (lenses and all).

  3. I have problems with contacts, too. My eyes get so dry they hurt and the contacts are hard to get out. I seriously need new glasses. I wonder if this company takes insurance?
