Gerber 8 Grains and Yogurt Cereal Review

Our twins are some of the pickiest eaters in the world… especially when it comes to cereal. They don’t like rice or any flavored cereal, just plain oatmeal cereal mixed with water, so it really surprised me when they couldn’t get enough of the new Gerber 8 Grains and Yogurt Cereal we were sent to try.

You’d think babies would get tired of the same ‘ole thing day after day. We’ve been feeding our son oatmeal cereal since he was just a few months old because he had some terrible reflux and had a hard time keeping his formula down.  So the doc said to try giving him a few tablespoons of cereal before he ate and that worked wonders, he was also considerably underweight for a while so the cereal would help him gain weight. So I’m happy that they both enjoyed the new Gerber 8 Grains and Yogurt Cereal because now I can change it up a bit and they’ll get some extra flavor to mix things up.

I can’t wait until their new Gerber Yogurt Juice shows up in our local stores.. I know my twins would LOVE the Banana Yogurt flavored juice.

The Yogurt Cereal was easy to mix up, you mix with just like you do with the Rice or Oatmeal cereals: Completely cooked and ready to serve. Just add liquid.

Easy To Mix Directions: Place desired amount of cereal in bowl. Stir in liquid (breast milk, formula, juice or water) to desired consistency. Or mix with whole milk for children over one year of age. Serve as is or warm. Discard any unfed cereal. Microwave Guidelines for Heating: Mix 1/4 cup cereal with 1/4 – 1/2 cup unheated liquid. Warm at Medium (50% power) 15-30 seconds. If mixing with whole milk for children over one year, heat on High power for 15-20 seconds. Stir to even out temperature. Test temperature before feeding.
