Today I had the opportunity to review the Wicking Plunge Nightgown from Cool Sets. With it being summer here in Illinois it’s been hot as heck here so I looked forward reviewing this nightgown from Cool Sets because they make all of their nightwear and loungewear with an exclusive CoolBalance® moisture wicking fabric, to help you comfortably get through those warm nights.
Their exclusive CoolBalance® fabric uses a micro fiber knit construction with thousands of filaments that accelerate evaporation of moisture off the skin to keep you cool & dry when it’s hot and warm & dry when it’s cool! Now that’s pretty nifty.
The fabric is just outstanding.. it’s very soft and comfortable. I would probably compare it to Victoria Secrets, just because it’s that well made and you’d think it was a pretty expensive item.
I love the style of this night gown as well.. it’s not a boring nightgown, it’s playful and sexy but in an attractive way. This is definitely a keeper in my book and I want more from Cool Sets! I’ve already told my husband that for Christmas at least one of their other nightgowns or pajama sets will be cool. Hopefully, he’ll get me some!
I’ve already recommended Cool Sets to a few friends of mine and we’ll definitely be giving some as gifts this year!

Okay, I have to ask. Where in Illinois are you that it’s so hot?!? I’m a bit north of Chicago, and it has been hot about 2 days so far since July 9th. =)
I got a chance to review a set of these several months ago for an online magazine I was writing for. They are divine! Two things I found out the hard way – don’t use dryer sheets when drying them, it compromises the wicking feature. It says this in the care instructions, but I skipped right over that and dried them several times with sheets. I kinda wish I had paid attention.
Also, the neckline of mine stretched a bit after several washes. Not enough for me to care too much, but enough for me to notice. I still love my Cool Sets and think of them as a bit of luxury for myself.
