At first I was a little skeptical of the iron actually working because I’ve tried other brands of flat irons that didn’t work so well and seemed to take longer than I was able to wait. This Remington Wet 2 Straight Hair Straighter can be used on either wet or dry hair. I tried it out on towel tried hair and was quite surprised at how easy it was and how well it did work.

The straighter features  30 different heat settings that range from dry, fine fragile hair to we, normal thick hair so no matter what type of hair you have, you can use it. On the top handle part of the iron is a digital LCD display with touch pad temperature controls so you’re able to easily adjust the settings to your needs.

I love the fact that this straighter eliminates frizz.. I have such a terrible time with frizz, especially during the summer, so this will be nice for those nights we plan to be out a while.

The straighter was easy to use.. it’s pretty self explanatory actually.. It didn’t take long for it to be ready to use either.. I timed it about 30 seconds which is great for those days when you don’t have a lot of time.. I hate waiting for things to be ready to use!

Another cool feature is the automatic shut off feature.. I always worry about leaving the iron on after we leave so I’m glad to know this will shut off on its own if I forget.

The only thing I wish it had was a comb attachment or some sort of comb like features on the actual iron itself. This would be a little helpful for me when I straighten hair.

I’m loving this Cinda B bag because it’s the perfect size for toting around all of my lotions, makeup and travel accessories when we travel. The bag has a flat bottom so that it stays upright on the counter, sink, dresser or wherever I set it. I myself don’t really care for the type of bags that don’t have a flat bottom, sometimes, when they’re smaller they’re not so bad, but for the larger bags a non-flat bottom makes it a little harder to see what all you have in your bag then when you set it down somewhere you have to place it on it’s side, so you risk the chance of your things falling out. But with this Cinda B bag and it’s flat bottom it makes it really easy to get to the contents as you need them.

I was sent an x-large size, which is fairly big and roomy, but not too big. Know what I mean? The bag measures 12″W x 6″D x 6½”H so you have plenty of room for the things you need.

The design of the cosmetic bag is cool. It’s very colorful and chic. In the past two years, many of my high school and college friends have had their first child.  I try to find unique gifts since you can only use so many gift certificates or baby outfits.

Recently, I tried The Wine Aroma Perfume Collection from Salud Scent Studio.  I absolutely loved them all.  Below is a list of the collection.  I noted the scents to look for in each perfume and my experience with them as well.

Sauvignon Blanc – noted for fresh cut grass, grapefruit, ginger, and crisp green apple scents.  I tried this scent in the roll on and loved it.  I now like roll on scents better then sprays.  It allows you to have better control over where the scent is applied on the body.  I really noticed the smell of fresh cut grass and the crisp green apple the most.  This scent is great for spring and summer.

Chardonnay – scents of honeydew melon, vanilla crème Brule, and toasted oak.  This was my personal favorite scent initially.  I could smell each of the scents listed.  This is an all occasion scent for me, but could easily be saved for special occasions too.

Riesling – white peach, Anjou pear, bergamot, and cypress aromas.  I enjoyed this scent and it appealed to me for every day use.

Merlot – red currant, rhubarb, fig, candied violet.  The Merlot smells wonderful but was not initially my favorite until I wore it.  I just loved how it smelled on my skin.  I wore this during dinners on a recent vacation.

Syrah – notes of black peppercorn, summer berries, and leather.  This scent reminds of me winter and I felt that it could be enjoyed by both men and women.

Salud Scent Studio offers custom blends as well.  You can pick from a wide variety of scents that fall into categories including: fresh, floral, fruity, foody, woodsy, essential oils, and tea inspired.

The Wine Aroma Perfume Collection can be used in conjunction to wine tasting, as the perfumes are supposed to enhance the nuances of both.  If wine tasting is out of the question, regardless of the reason, this is a nice way to enjoy wine notes without having any wine.

SAHM Reviews - The BagsInABag product is such a novel concept. There are a variety of bag designs to choose from – smaller than a child’s pencil box. More like the size of a makeup bag. Each bag is jam-packed with so much stuff that when I first started emptying it, it felt like a clown car. Geez, how much stuff can they cram in here?

Each bag is neatly organized with like items and labeled to help find what you need. Here’s an incomplete sampling of what mine contains: A bag marked ‘tools’ contains a few items for nail care, super glue and a pencil. Earth Science Beta-Ginseng Cellegen Renewal Serum Review

I will be the first to admit that I don’t like to tell my real age. Why? Because I already LOOK my age for the most part (gray, silver and white hair! Ugh!) so I rather not admit to it too.

The big thing for me, aside from my ever aging hair, is wrinkles! Thankfully my wrinkles are mostly around my mouth and not my forehead or around my eyes. I guess being overweight has helped me in those areas (more fat on my face?). But so far not too much has helped to ease the deep, horrible lines around my mouth.

I have been using a product for the past several weeks called Beta-Ginseng Cellagen Renewal Serum. It’s made by Earth Science.

I have to agree that it is very gentle on the skin. I have Eczema on my skin (face, neck, scalp) and I break out very easily with adult acne too if I’m not careful. So far, since using the product, I have not had any bad reactions to it whatsoever. That alone gives it a “two thumbs up” as far as I’m concerned. So many products tend to aggravate my skin and the Beta-Ginseng Cellagen Renewal Serum did not.

I used the product on the deep lines around my mouth. I used a little in the morning after I washed my face and before I put on a moisturizer and again at night after I washed my face and before putting on my night cream (gosh… just that alone makes me sound like my MOM! LOL).

It took a few weeks before I noticed a bit of a difference. Maybe it’s just me but the lines started to appear a little less “deep”. More so on one side then the other (I wonder why?). The texture of my skin appeared to be different too, but in a positive way. It’s almost as if it “plumped” up my skin in a way. I guess the way those shots fill in your skin (ouch!) but without the huge expense and the pain.

When I put make up on the lines are even LESS noticeable too.

I have used this for several weeks and it’s taken a few weeks to notice a difference so I am very hopeful that after a few more weeks I’ll notice even more of a positive change in my skin and the wrinkles. Best of all the serum is very affordable at only around $16 per bottle (I have seen it for $10 and change too). It’s a small bottle and it comes with a dropper so you can squeeze and drop just a few drops on to your finger tip or directly on to your skin so as not to use too much. It has a very pleasant scent too. Not over powering at all. It smells pretty, not like a medicine.

Right after you apply it to the skin your skin feels very soft too.

I’m giving Earth Science’s Beta-Ginseng Cellagen Renewal Serum a “two thumbs up”. It’s affordable and it appears to be helping my wrinkles and not aggravating my very sensitive skin.

Honestly? I had never heard of Elizabeth Grant before I was given the opportunity to review her products by Mom Fuse. All I can say is I have seriously been missing out. At age 53, I can only imagine how my skin could have benefited over the years. At night, I wash again and apply the Advanced Cellular Age Defense Pore Refining Lotion, and Advanced Cellular Age Defense Night Cream. Not only is this routine giving my skin a radiant glow, I’m also remembering to wash my face twice a day. I’m embarrassed to admit that in the past I’ve only washed my face with my daily shower or bath.

I will admit my favorite products so far are the Caviar Double Serum and Caviar Day Crème. I’ll also admit I don’t care for caviar, at all, which made me hesitant to try these products. Thanks to Mom Fuse, I was able to review 2 skin care products designed to combat both of these problems and minimize these unwelcome changes.

Chin-Up Firm, Lift & Tone is a super smooth cream serum designed to help heavier necks and jaw lines look re-contoured, toned and streamlined. A full neckline isn’t my problem, but I wanted to sample it just to see what it was like. It had a subtle floral fragrance and was very moisturizing. I applied it to my neck and jaw line and it absorbed very quickly, leaving behind no oiliness or stickiness, just a moisturized feeling.

Chin-Up Redensifying is an extra rich, super-strength cream serum developed to help the thinning, dry and fragile skin on the neck look re-densified, more resilient, deeply hydrated and less lined. I have been applying this daily to my neck, decolleté, and my jaw line. I love how quickly it absorbs leaving a smooth, hydrated feeling to my skin. I absolutely love the scent! I can not identify it but I love it. It’s sort of butterscotch or anise or ??? I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I feel so much more moisturized than before. I also feel a lot better knowing I’m taking care of my most delicate skin areas.
