For review, received the pink camcorder, but it’s available in many different colors and each camcorder comes with a matching case to to go with it.

Included in the box with the camcorder are (4) AAA Batteries, USB & AV Cable, an HDMI Cable, a CD-Rom which has the drivers and applications, software, a user’s manual, wrist strap and the matching carrying case.

What we liked:

The camcorder itself is not only lightweight but it’s easy to use. I managed to figure things out pretty quickly without reading the manual.  I’m loving the design on the camcorder.. it’s kind of a quilted pattern and just looks stylish in my opinion.

It also comes with everything you need, except for an SD Card, which is sold separately.

In still mode the pictures came out pretty clear but the video part could be a little better.

What needs improvement:

Video quality was ok. I’ve seen better but it’s still fair quality for a price tag of around $150. Now we have a lot of low lights in our house so video was a little scratchy. When we went into the kitchen, where the lighting is much brighter, the scratchiness wasn’t there.. or at least noticeable to me.

The other thing we didn’t like too much was the sound quality. It seemed like the microphone didn’t pick things up very well. Hubby was talking to the twins while I recorded and during playback we could hear me breathing more than we could hear him.  So the closer you are to the subject the better the microphone picks it up.

The Good…

The graphics in the game are spectacular. The game controls are great.. I love the shortcuts because it made magic casting a breeze.

Compared to the first edition of Kingdom Hearts, this follow up game gets better with a new type of gameplay called the “Panel System”. The Panel System is how you equip and customize character’s levels, items, magic, weapons, abilities, armor and accessories.. but that’s not all. The Panel System also facilitates progression through the game in that certain items, spells, etc. necessary for progression cannot be used, or at least used to their full potential, until their panels are equipped.

Another cool feature is that with the multiplayer functionality, players can join together with additional players in DS multi-card play over a DS Wi-Fi connection for team-based gameplay and more. The multiplayer function also features hidden characters including favorite characters from the Kingdom Hearts and Disney universe… Sora, Donald, Goofy, King Mickey and Riku.

The Not-So-Good..

There’s too much reading.. when I play a video game, I like to watch the cutscenes, sometimes those are even better than playing the game itself. With Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, there seems to be more reading involved with the cutscenes rather than action.

The panels are kind of a cool feature, but they take some time to learn.

Overall the game was pretty cool. It’s simplistic which I like and the graphics are extremely good. Once you get the panel system down pat you’ll breeze through the game.

I immediately fell in love with the shirts, not only do some of the t-shirts describe my children in the perfect way, but they’re cute and funny!

We were only able to get a few pictures until the twins decided not to cooperate.. as you can see from the picture to the right, my son is a model in training! He really put on a show once the camera was out and started showing off his adorable smile.

My daughter on the other hand (bottom picture) was more interested in playing with her toy phone at the time.

I really do think these shirts are adorable and I wish I had heard of Bcause I Said So before because my husband and I would have stocked up on the tees. My son is wearing the “Needs Nap” tee while my daughter is wearing a tee that says “Cereal Dater”.

A few of my other favorite t-shirt saying from Bcause I Said So include “Get Your Crawl On”, “New Baby”, “Caution Teething”, “Flirt” (this is one that accurately describes my son, he’s already flirting with the ladies at the grocery store!) for infants and “Teenager In Training”, “China Shop Bull”, “Kindergarten Rock Star”, “Stuck In The Middle” for the older children. I was expecting just a pitcher with a filtration system like you would see with most similar pitchers.. but I was pleasantly suprised when I opened the box and saw everything that comes with the pitcher:

The Pitcher comes with the following products:

• One ZeroWater® filter cartridge that removes contaminants that cause water to have an unpleasant taste.
• An independently made TDS Meter to give you peace of mind that your ZeroWater® filter cartridges are working properly. It also lets you know when to replace the filters. When your water starts reading 006 it’s time for a change.
• The one-chamber Pitcher with lid has a pour spout, exclusive in-fridge push button dispenser and a special storage compartment for the TDS Meter.
• More complete filtration than ordinary carbon filters
• Clean, crisp taste
• Includes one Pitcher, one filter, and one TDS meter.

I thought all water filter pitchers were the same, but boy was I wrong. We had used the PUR brand before and we had no problems, the water tasted good and we felt good about getting rid of the nasty stuff in the water. Now that we’ve used the ZeroWater Pitcher.. I’m a firm believer that not all water pitchers are the same.

My two favorite things about the ZeroWater Pitcher is

1.) There is a small valve on the bottom of the pitcher so that you can pour a glass of water without taking the entire pitcher out of the fridge. As a mom this not only saves me time but it’s very convenient.

2.) I love that it comes with a TDS Meter so that I know the filter is working properly and it will also let me know when it needs to be replaced.

3.) It’s probably the best water I’ve ever tasted.

What I liked least:

1.) It’s very slow when filtering the water.. it seemed like it took at least twice as long as our other filter.

The ZeroWater pitcher is probably one of the best filtered water pitchers on the market and it the water, after being filtered, tasted great. With it being a little slower than other filters I would recommend keepening a gallon jug or two of filtered water in the fridge so that you don’t run out so quickly.

Also a note.. when I used the TDS filter to get the numbers on both the tap water and the filtered water, I received 000 for the reading on the filtered water and 112 for the unfiltered tap water.

I’m a new mother of twins.. well, they’re a year old, but I still consider myself a new mother and am still learning as we go through life with them growing and learning new things every day. One thing I found out when becoming a new mom.. was that it’s much harder to get out of the house and get things done, especially if you’re a stay at home mom. For those with multiples, like myself, it may be even harder. At least for me it is.

This book is all about helping rookie moms maintain their individuality and boost their confidence about leaving the house, socializing, and doing things they’ve always liked to do—either with or without baby. There were so many simple ideas included in the book that I never even thought of doing.

Heather and Whitney believe that getting out of the house every day, no matter how long you’re out or what the activity is.. it will not only be good for you, but for the baby as well. Now I tried this for a week to see how things went with our twins and I have to say.. it is good for mom to get out of the house every day and my twins were less fussy and much happier. My daughter especially.. she was never really outgoing like our son was.. she pretty much did her own thing but once I started taking them out each day, she’s a different person now. She’s outgoing, she laughs a lot more.. she’s a totally different baby.

The activities we tried were:

#169 Take Your Tot to a Grown Up Restaurant – I know.. I thought she was crazy too! But it doesn’t have to be as bad as it sounds! Hint – Get there early, not when it’s busy and bring a few small toys to keep them entertained when they start getting bored.

#183 Make dinner after dinner. Bond with your partner by planning and preparing tomorrow’s dinner tonight. My husband and I had such a good time laughing and talking.. we definitely needed that.

#185 Host a TV Night With Your Pals -  We ended up having a movie night, instead of a TV night. It was fun having our friends come over, they even brought their kids who entertained our little ones!

I love this book and I would recommend it to any new mom. It keeps you from going stir crazy, especially during those first few months of bring baby home. The activities will help you bond with your husband again, your children and keep you intact with yourself.

There are a few things that stand out to me about this book:

· They candidly address German wine stereotypes, such as Riesling being cheap and sweet.  Ironically, German Rieslings from the Mosel and Rhiengau region were some of the most expensive wines in the world at the end of the 19th century.

· The book ranks both the producers and their wines.  They are upfront in that a very good wine could get a rating in the 80-89 range but even those ranked in the 70’s are good for daily consumption.  So don’t let a lower rating sway you.  There is also a page for bargain hunters as well.

German Wine Guide includes a guide on reading the German wine label.  Some of the information such as producer, official control number, place of production, volume, wine region and alcohol strength are mandatory on the label.  However, there is usually additional information on the label making it confusing to decipher what you are reading.

There are maps showing each wine region, a section describing German wine terminology and information regarding the grapes.  Many of us think of white wines when we think of German wine, but they have started to move towards red grapes as well.  Spätburgunder, which is Pinot Noir, is the most widely grown red grape in Germany.  The book also offers a vintage chart and a list of the best wines dating back to 1989 (accounting for the aging process).

The vast majority of the book is dedicated to the wine producers.  German Wine Guide separates the producers by region and then red and white wines.  Each producer gets its own classification of the estate and then a classification of the wine.  Additional details include the owners, sales, hours of operation should you be able to visit the estate, history, and restaurant information for those that have them.  Then it lists each wine and their rating.  Prices are listed in German marks so some calculations will need to be done if you plan to buy.

I plan to use this book when I am looking for my next German wine purchase.  However, if I ever get the chance to go to Germany, German Wine Guide will be the first thing I pack.
