At first I was a little skeptical of the iron actually working because I’ve tried other brands of flat irons that didn’t work so well and seemed to take longer than I was able to wait. This Remington Wet 2 Straight Hair Straighter can be used on either wet or dry hair. I tried it out on towel tried hair and was quite surprised at how easy it was and how well it did work.

The straighter features  30 different heat settings that range from dry, fine fragile hair to we, normal thick hair so no matter what type of hair you have, you can use it. On the top handle part of the iron is a digital LCD display with touch pad temperature controls so you’re able to easily adjust the settings to your needs.

I love the fact that this straighter eliminates frizz.. I have such a terrible time with frizz, especially during the summer, so this will be nice for those nights we plan to be out a while.

The straighter was easy to use.. it’s pretty self explanatory actually.. It didn’t take long for it to be ready to use either.. I timed it about 30 seconds which is great for those days when you don’t have a lot of time.. I hate waiting for things to be ready to use!

Another cool feature is the automatic shut off feature.. I always worry about leaving the iron on after we leave so I’m glad to know this will shut off on its own if I forget.

The only thing I wish it had was a comb attachment or some sort of comb like features on the actual iron itself. This would be a little helpful for me when I straighten hair.

I’m loving this Cinda B bag because it’s the perfect size for toting around all of my lotions, makeup and travel accessories when we travel. The bag has a flat bottom so that it stays upright on the counter, sink, dresser or wherever I set it. I myself don’t really care for the type of bags that don’t have a flat bottom, sometimes, when they’re smaller they’re not so bad, but for the larger bags a non-flat bottom makes it a little harder to see what all you have in your bag then when you set it down somewhere you have to place it on it’s side, so you risk the chance of your things falling out. But with this Cinda B bag and it’s flat bottom it makes it really easy to get to the contents as you need them.

I was sent an x-large size, which is fairly big and roomy, but not too big. Know what I mean? The bag measures 12″W x 6″D x 6½”H so you have plenty of room for the things you need.

The design of the cosmetic bag is cool. It’s very colorful and chic. A Little Bit of This is the only retailer in Chicago, IL that carries the Cinda B bag line and if we lived closer I’d probably be at their shop at least once a week to buy some new things.. but thankfully you can order from their website www.abitofthis.com!

Also, A Little Bit of This can personalize everything they carry, which I love! I don’t know but something about seeing my initials on this cosmetic bag made me feel a little special! The stitching on the initials was very good and professional. Not like some of those that you can tell were machine done and have some mistakes or come lose after just a few weeks of using.

The Lavender Lotion has a beautiful and relaxing scent but is not overpowering, which is a plus.  The lotion goes on smooth and soaks into the skin nicely with no oily residue.  I really enjoy a hand lotion that has such a delightful smell but is kind to the nose; I do have such a sensitive nose.

The Pink Sugar Kisses Sugar Scrub had such a pretty smell and a very pretty pink color.  I used the scrub on my face and it was quite enjoyable on different levels.  As I rubbed the scrub on my face, I can feel all the exfoliating graduals, which I think are sugar graduals, scrubbing my pores.  The product rinsed away so clean making my face feel rejuvenated.  Pink Sugar Kissed Sugar Scrub…Sugar, Sugar, Sugar.  What more can we ask for?

The soaps come in a variety of fun names and attractive scents. You have a few different options on sizes.. you can get a large 5 oz. soap bar for $7.50 or a smaller 2 oz (travel size) bar for $3.50. Some of the names really cracked me up and I think that’s what makes The Joy of Soap stand out in my mind. For example: Elizabeth’s Wild Hair Shaving Soap, Feeling Frisky, Manly Man, Two in the Shower Tea Tree.

I have a friend whose name is Elizabeth and I think for her upcoming bridal shower or Christmas stocking I’ll be getting her a bar of the Elizabeth’s Wild Hair Shaving Soap. For my husband, I just have to get him the Manly Man Soap. I laughed out loud at this one.. the best part is that the bar of soap is packaged with duct tape and the title of the soap is written with a Sharpie!

Each bar has a distinctly a different fragrance. I love the smell of spearmint, so I was all over the Rosy Cheeks Rosemary because it has a spearmint and rosemary fragrance.When I used the the Rosy Cheeks bar in the shower it smelled even better that when you smell it in the packaging. I also woke up refreshed and relaxed.. and I told my husband he needed to buy some more of this soap. I was in such a good mood and carefree that he agreed! Yay!

Another thing I love about this company is that they can create a custom bar of soap for you! So if you have a favorite fragrance or two you can get a custom soap bar made just for you!

Many women are trying to find beauty products that are pure and fight aging naturally.  Until recently, I haven’t used any natural products that went beyond moisturizing.  Now I am using some of SIRJJ organics AcaiBerry by wisdom line.  Acai is noted for its high concentration of antioxidants, which helps fight aging.  I was impressed at how well the cleansing cream and moisturizing creams worked and how my skin felt afterwards.

So, when LANDER offered to send me a few bath products for moms and a few for kids to review, I was very happy! I thought of this an excuse for my husband to watch the children for a few hours while I sat and relaxed (and read!) in the tub for a few hours.

Ahh.. it was exhilarating! I was sent a gift pack of the LANDER® 3-in-1 (Bubble Bath, Bodywash and Shampoo). This 3-n-1 thing was very cool to me. I could take a bubble bath, wash up and wash my hair with one product.. nice! In the gift pack were three, fairly large bottles. The different scents included Fresh Lavender, Coconut and Vanilla Crème Caramel. I immediately chose the Vanilla Creme Caramel because I love Vanilla and anything scented with it!

A bath is nice for me in general because I hardly have the time to sit in the tub and relax.. but with the Vanilla Creme Caramel bubble bath.. it was so much better. And with the 3-n-1 I only used one item.. not 3 so that was definitely a plus and made things a little easier.

The second item I received to review was the LANDER Kids Bubble Bath. I used this on my daughter only, not my son because he his eczema is really acting up and I didn’t want to try it on him in case it irritated his skin more. My daughter loved playing in the bubble.. she’s even figured out that when she blows as hard as she can into the bubbles.. some fly around. It was adorable.. and she had a great time.

I had never tried LANDER products before, but I’m a huge fan now. I had no problems or complaints with any of the products I tried and will no longer purchase the more expensive names when I can purchase these at Wal-Mart for a much lower price and get a ton more for my money.

Eco.Kid has created naturally derived hair, body, face products for children. Rather than using chemicals which can damage hair and pollute the waterways, their line is created from ingredients that are organically certified, plant derived, wild harvested, vapor distilled and biodegradable. Eco.Kid claims their products are so safe, they can be eaten.

The first thing I do when I get products like these is to see what they smell like.. I don’t know why I do it.. but I do. To me, and this is the only complaint I have about the eco.Kids product line, the products don’t smell very nice. I can’t put my finger on what they smell like, but I’ll try to explain how my smelling senses “whiffed” it. The Potion Lotion was the worst for me.. it kind of smells fruity (maybe orange) but it’s very potent. The smoothing paste (hair waxing gel) doesn’t smell as bad as the lotion.. but it’s also potent. It’s maybe a lemon fragrance.. oh I got it.. one of those lemon cup freezes. Now in all fairness, I have no intention on making this a bad review because of my smelling preferences. I just don’t prefer these flavorful smells.. but you may! My suggestion to them would be to make the smells a little more kid friendly..

Both products, even though I complained about the smell, actually smell refreshing once their used and on your body. The potion lotion seemed like it started moisturizing right from the beginning. It did leave the palms of my hands a little sticky afterwards but after it dries, there is no sticky residue.

Both the Potion Lotion and the protection paste worked well, I would actually recommend these products to friends and family with kids. The Bubbalicious hair wax didn’t leave a nasty waxy feeling in your hair like some styling wax products do which is a plus in my eyes. It also didn’t make the hair feel greasy or heavy and kept the hair in place all day long.

It also felt great that I was using products created from all natural ingredients instead of those with chemicals in it like we would typically buy. I would actually love to to their insect repellent for our little ones.. the thought of it being all natural and keeping those bugs away is a definite plus for me.
