For gamers everywhere, there is nothing more annoying than having to leave a game unfinished because you have to go some place else. Remember when PlayStation Portable was announced? Some of us old gamers were so happy that we can finally play video games on the go. And the titles available for the PSP were games we also play on the main console, which made the prospect of playing Metal Gear or Final Fantasy while on vacation sound awesome.
Nintendo Switch Games
But it still is not the same as being able to continue playing a console game on a portable machine. This is where the Nintendo Switch comes in. Its hybrid design is what made it an even bigger success than Nintendo’s Wii U. More than that, it also has some of the most kickass games you can play at home and on-the-go. So while you are surfing online stores to get a new Nintendo Switch, here are some of the games you should definitely purchase along with it.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is probably the most trans formative game released last year. If you have played previous Legend of Zelda games, this is like walking into a park you visited when you were a kid and yet, while the landmarks are the same, the feel is different. The key difference from the previous Zelda games is its freeform style. No rules apply during gameplay, which means you, as Link, can explore Hyrule and experience the changing weather and terrain without needing any prompts for the game.
Super Mario Odyssey
Another popular franchise makes its way to this list! Super Mario Odyssey has successfully made a 30-year old franchise feel new. In this game, Mario needs to travel between worlds to save Princess Peach from the wicked Bowser. Taking wedding traditions seriously, Bowser travels from one world to another to get items he needs for his impending wedding to Princess Peach (something borrowed, something blue, and so on). Mario is accompanied by Cappy – his hat that allows him to capture creatures. And while the traditional power-ups are not featured, Cappy can be used to obtain the talents and powers of Mario’s enemies by flinging the hat at them.
Here is something less action-packed than the two previous games. Stardew Valley is a pixel-art farming simulator that allows you to enjoy the relaxing banality of countryside life. Think of this as Minecraft, Sims, Animal Crossing, or Harvest Moon. You plant and water your crops in the morning, then you head into town to buy items that will improve your plot of land, maybe even some seeds. You can chat up some of the characters in the game, or you can also check out the mysterious mine to collect magic items.
Overcooked is the best game to play if you want to enjoy a game with your friends. The goal is simple: fill in all the orders in the restaurant; however, accomplishing that is going to be a bit of a challenge. One person’s mishap can lead to all kinds of chaos down the line. Pretty sure the fun of the game is remaining friends after each level is completed.
These games offer different gaming experiences, which is vital if you are new to the world of gaming. So choose between action-packed games, relaxing games, or cop-op games, and get yourself a new Nintendo Switch!
