Review: Senseo Coffee Machine
The Senseo Coffee Machine is a 2-cup brewing system with a sleek design that uses convenient pods to make a cup of coffee in just a few minutes. We were sent a Senseo machine and a few coffee pods to try out. I think our household has decided that after trying out the new single-serve coffee machines, we’ll never go back to a “regular” coffee maker. With our busy lives it’s just so much more convenient and the coffee is actually better in our opinion.
The Senseo Coffee Machine is extremely easy to use.. you simply flip open the top of the machine, slip in a pod and close and you’re now ready to start making one or two cups of coffee. The water tank holds enough water to make several cups of coffee before refilling which is great, I do wish it was a little bigger but that wouldn’t be enough to stop me from recommending it. We loved that you can brew 1 or 2 cups at a time unlike other single-serve machines out there; perfect for when you have company over.
The brewing process produces a nice foamy layer on top the coffee for a nice touch and the coffee was delicious. The machine was a little loud when brewing the coffee but not overpowering loud.
Overall, the Senseo Machine is a nice addition to your kitchen if you want the ease of making a single cup of coffee. The price is affordable and it’s great for parties, especially because of the fact that you’re able to offer your guests a variety of flavors. But if you want a very good single cup brewer with better tasting coffee (along with many more flavor varieties) and are willing to spend more, I would go with a Keurig machine.

I’m glad you liked yours- I’ve had two and they both leaked terribly. And I didn’t like the coffee at all. I am saving up to replace my Senseo with a Keurig!
I love my Senseo but I really want a Keurig. I have heard such great things about them. My Senseo is the older model & my only complaint is it only holds about 2 and a half cups water, but I love the convience & never had any problems. I think, they only leak if you try to use other company’s pods like Melitta for instance that don’t fit. Their hazelnut coffee is great
