The fourth season of Showtime’s highly acclaimed and award-winning series Weeds comes to DVD and Blu-ray Disc this June, timed to coincide with the show’s fifth season television premiere. Weeds: Season Four includes all 13 episodes of the fourth season which originally aired in the Summer of 2008, along with special features including select commentaries with cast and crew, numerous featurettes and interviews and a gag reel. The Blu-Ray Disc features include all of the DVD extras plus BonusView commentaries with Kevin Nealon and Justin Kirk. Weeds: Season Four is taking “green” to a higher level as the DVD will be packaged using 100% post-consumer recycled paper and plastic water bottles. Available at the Showtime Store for $39.98

“So, without ruining the show…in case you can’t tell from the show title or the pic…Nancy {mom} sells weed. She has two boys, a 17 year old, Silas {Hunter Parrish} and a 12 year old,Shane {Alexander Gould}. Her husband died {not sure how or when…I guess seasons 1-3 would come in handy here} but her brother-in-law Andy {Justin Kirk} is actively part of the family. And I think he is a cross between Mr. Big {Chris Noth} and Harry Connick Jr.
Seriously. I don’t know how they manage to get all these crazy story lines and still come up with great TV. All the goings on kinda remind me of Seinfeld…but way, way, crazier. I can’t wait to watch the previous seasons.” – Kristen
