This contest has ended, winner will be announced shortly!
And the winner is…
Our city’s water is so hard and tastes nasty. I recently learned (and this is going to get gross) that the reason why it tastes so bad is because of cows and their excrement. I would like some filtered water to drink!
Congratulations AmandaK!
From the “Eco-Friendly Gift Guide” - ZeroWater Pitcher - $39.99
Zero Water is the only water filtration technology that leaves behind nothing but great tasting water! ZeroWater’s filtration system has a more complete filtration system than ordinary charcoal filters; converting ordinary tap water into perfect H2O. ZeroWater saves time and money and compared to buying bottled water!
Using ZeroWater pitchers show you’re serious about reducing plastic bottle waste. The average household can eliminate nearly 2,800 plastic PET bottles per year simply by switching to ZeroWater filtered water pitchers. So while you’re drinking clean water, you’re helping make the environment clean, too.
Check ZeroWater.com for a money-saving, printable $10 OFF coupon!
Each Zero Water Pitcher comes with a removable TDS meter that measures your water for Total Dissolved Solids. The number you get from the meter represents the amount of dissolved substances in parts per million in the water you drink. Majority of the time when you lay out the cash for a water filter pitcher, you are assuming that it’s doing it’s job. With the Zero Water Pitcher, not only are they so confident that their product does exactly what it’s supposed to, but they even throw in the free meter which definitely adds to the value.

I like the concept of reducing plastic water bottles. Filters can be expensive though.
Just how bad is our tap water?
We are the biggest eco-friendly family I know – this pitcher will be great to reduce the amount of plastic bottles we use.
I would love to win this since I drink lots of water and can’t stand the taste of tap water and buying water has just gotten so expensive these days. It also would help cut down on plastic used in water bottles.
I’m also a subscriber.
I’d like this because it sounds like the best water filtration system that I’ve heard of! I like that it has the TDS meter too.
This would help with our trying to be more eco-friendly

I appreciate that ZeroWater has a superior filtration system. This year we swore off bottled water (for BOTH environmental and economic reasons) – but we still feel queasy about drinking water straight from the tap. ZeroWater sounds like the perfect solution!
I want to incorporate this ZeroWater Pitcher into our home because as their website says “ZeroWater’s filtration system has a more complete filtration system than ordinary charcoal filters; converting ordinary tap water into perfect H2O”. I want my family to be drinking the safest, cleanest water possible and this pitcher will insure that they indeed are. I also am constantly striving for ways we as a household can “green up our act” and if we can contribute to keeping our environment clean and healthier than that is one step farther we can take on our green journey!

My husband needs to drink more water every day. A pitcher of Zero Water would be a good way for him to measure his intake. Obviously, the purer the water is, the better it will taste. “ZeroWater® is the only filtered water from a pitcher that meets FDA definition for purified bottled water.”

I’d like to try the ZeroWater Pitcher because we buy bottled water all the time and I want to really switch with this method.
The water filter unit on our fridge is dying, so this would be a great substitute!

I’d like to try ZeroWater because buying bottled water is getting so expensive- and tap water scares the heck out of me!
I would love to try one because we no longer purchase bottled water and the tap water here tastes terrible.
I would love to have a water filter that actually does it’s job
