Getting engaged can be one of the most memorable experiences in a persons life.  I mean, choosing a life partner is one of the most important decisions a person will make in their life.  So if you’re thinking about popping the question, here are some tips and ideas to make it special and unforgettable.

Choosing the perfect engagement ring.

The perfect engagement ring is essential. Figure out what style she likes, in a nonchalant way, so you don’t give away anything. The more she’s unaware you’re picking out engagements rings, the more suprised she’ll be when you do propose. (Have one of her girlfriends get her ring size so she’s clueless)

Timing:

When you choose to propose, be sure to make sure it’s the right time for your significant other. To make it special, you want it to be a suprise and you want it to be perfect, so try not to propose while your significant other is under a lot of stress or is overwhelmed.

Make it fun and romantic:

• Do something she loves whether it be fishing or skydyving
• Take her to a memorable place (the first place you met or a place that is special to both of you)
• Do something romantic at home like rearranging the magnets on the fridge to spell out your proposal, get the families together for a barbecue and make your proposal, make her ring a suprise in her favorite snack box, etc.

There are many different ways to make your proposal fun and romantic.  Just think about the person you love and what they’ll like.
