Rocky Mountain Chipsters Review

February 13, 2009

12279992187801094301217Since I am a chocoholic.. you know I just could not wait try these goodies from Rocky Mountain Chipsters out! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.. I mean, I’ve had chocolate dipped pretzels (probably one of my favorite chocolate snacks) and love the salty chocolate taste but I wasn’t sure about potato chips dipped in chocolate.

So I have to admit, when we received the package I had my husband try them first, and I gauged by the look on his face that he enjoyed them. So I went ahead and took one out and started nibbling on it. It wasn’t all that crunchy, like I expected it to be, and I didn’t taste much salt. It was more like a small hint of salt.  Sometimes with different bites you can taste the potato chip but not always. It was good and could definitely be one of those snacks for the times when you want something sweet yet salty.

1st Stop Mom Giveaways and Reviews also had a chance to try out these chocolate goodies. Here’s a small part of what she had to say…

When I opened the bag it looked just like a chip dipped in chocolate. It is not too much chocolate where it fills in the ridges it is just enough. So I took that first bite, expecting something that tasted like chocolate with salt sprinkled on it but I was wrong…. Read the entire review.

The Rocky Mountain Chipsters come in different flavors: Dark Chocolate, Inferno, Milk Chocolate (this is the flavor I tried), and Mint Milk. I’m actually very curious as to what the Mint Milk flavor tastes like. I like a hint of mint with most of my chocolate so I bet this flavor is really good!
