I tried out Kimberly’s Bum Butter first. Though I no longer have a baby in the house, I do have children with very sensitive skin and find that baby products often better meet their skincare needs. The Bum Butter is a nourishing balm for healing and protecting skin. My youngest often gets a rash behind her ear so I decided to give this a try on it. It felt great using something all natural instead of prescribed steroid creams and honestly, this did just as good, if not better, of a job as the harsh creams. It feels great on the skin as it’s made of oils and natural beeswax. It also has a pleasing scent of chamomile and comfrey.
The next product I used is the Belly Butter which is a creamy balm that helps to prevent stretch marks. Well…too late! LOL! Seriously though, this balm is so soft and creamy that I couldn’t resist using it anyway. I love the scent which, I believe, mostly comes from the coconut oil. I love this balm. It’s just so soft and soothing. I wish I had had it when I was pregnant!
The third product I tried is the Baby Oil. First of all, I find it great that this comes in a pump form instead of a messy pouring form. An oily bottle is a nasty bottle and the pump keeps this one neat and clean and is super easy to use. I love using baby oil after a shower to keep my skin soft and well moisturized. This works! The scent is calming and the oil itself doesn’t leave my feeling greasy as some oils can. It has also done wonders for my excessively dry hands. I’ve been using it every night before bed and after washing dishes and have noticed a significant improvement! It’s also great to add to bath water after a busy day. Just add in a few drops, climb in and relax!
