My husband and I are proud to admit we are “choco-holics”; obsessed, addicted you call it whatever you want, we like the term “choco-holics”!
Founded in 1921, See’s is an old-fashioned candy company that is apparently all over the place on the West Coast. Since we are from the Midwest, we had never had a box of See’s chocolates until today, when one arrived in the mail. The packaging was pretty nifty because it’s the old school packaging.
The chocolate assortment I received was filled with all different kinds of delicious treats. It was a heavenly assortment of dark & milk chocolates, cream centers, Marzipan, caramel centers, Molasses chips, nut filled chocolates and more. The chocolate itself is quite good; smooth, rich, and creamy. Every chocolate had a unique and delicious flavor.
The one thing that makes See’s chocolates stand out in our minds are the fillings. Milk Chocolate Butterchew is now one of my husband’s favorite chocolates of all time, with an awesome brown sugar caramel filling and hint of vanilla. In his words “It’s like Heaven has exploded in my mouth.” (No joke, he really said that.)
I think the best part of all is that you can customize your own See’s chocolate assortment on their website, using their Custom Mix option, which has 102 candies to choose from. See’s is perfect for any occasion. They also have sugar free chocolate available!

Every year my daughter sends me one pound of my favorite See’s chocolates at Christmas. One full pound of Dark Chocolate Carmel Patties, and I don’t share, and I don’t feel guilty. The best chocolate ever! I have been eating See’s candies since I was a small child, now I’m 64, not going to stop now.
As a child I also loved there Jelly Beans that they had at Easter, the best I’ve ever had.
I LOVE See’s chocolates. When I get a box as a gift, I try to keep it all to myself! So yummy!
We were sent a box at the office, our fav was the dark chocolate raspberry!
