Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients:

 

 

• 1 whole fryer chicken
• cream of chicken soup
• bisquick mix – follow directions for making up biscuits – a quick mix & add water and stir is all you need

Directions:

•  Boil your chicken for about 45 minutes and remove. Let the chicken cool down and then shred.
• Skim the fat from the water you boiled your chicken in and leave the water in the pot.

• Add the chicken back to the pot, add the cream of chicken and bring to a boil. Slowly drop spoonfuls of the batter mix into the pot. Let the pot continue to simmer for an hour or so at a low heat. Salt & pepper as desired.
